Marie-Luise Angerer

Marie-Luise Angerer is a professor of media theory/media studies at the University of Potsdam, Germany. She is the Managing Director of Brandenburgisches Zentrum für Medienwissenschaften (ZeM) in Potsdam. Numerous research visits and guest professorships brought her to the US, to Australia, Canada, and to various European universities. As a professor, she was VALIE EXPORT's colleague at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne, where she also was Rector from 2007 to 2009. Recent publications include Desire After Affect (2014); Choreographie – Medien – Gender (with Y. Hardt and A. Weber, 2013); Timing of Affect: Epistemologies, Aesthetics, Politics (with B.
