The ORF is initiating the cultural event for the 21st time. In this context, the VALIE EXPORT Center Linz will open its doors to culturally interested revelers from 6 pm to 1 am.
Building on the archive of VALIE EXPORT which she has created since the beginning of her artistic career, the LENTOS Kunstmuseum, in cooperation with the University of Art and Design Linz, operates an internationally oriented research center for media and performance art at the Tabakfabrik Linz. Here the archive of the internationally renowned artist is processed, researched and communicated, and the artistic and scientific examination of media and performance art is promoted.
During a guided tour through the Center, insights will be given into the work and network of the Linz-born media and performance artist VALIE EXPORT. The varied tour includes the development and orientation of the research institution, accompanied by short film contributions and a visit to the library and archives.
