Artistic Supporting Programme

Film: Open Tiles / Floor One (Violetta Wakolbinger and Herwig Kerschner)

The documentary film Open Tiles / Floor One by Violetta Wakolbinger and Herwig Kerschner shows the construction of the Center, referring in its own artistic style to the artist VALIE EXPORT. The filmmakers both studied at the University of Art and Design Linz.

Music: Dr. Didi (Peter Androsch, Didi Bruckmayr, Bernd Preinfalk)

Dr. Didi have been making music together since 2006, combining the strikingly different artistic personalities of Peter Androsch, Didi Bruckmayr and Bernd Preinfalk. Androsch is active as a composer, mostly of musical theatre works, and also as the founder and director of the Hörstadt. Bruckmayr, a performer with a powerful voice, has been steeled by Fuckhead and Wipeout. Preinfalk is a composer and sound researcher hailing from the border to the Czech Republic. Peter Androsch and Didi Bruckmayr teach at the University of Art and Design Linz.

Sound Installation: VALIE EXPORT Audio Abstract (Dagmar Schink and Dominik Leitner)

Audio Abstract implements the voice of VALIE EXPORT into the premises of the Center, making use of varying intervals. Excerpts from her premature legacy, her thoughts, ideas and concepts, have been recorded by VALIE EXPORT especially for the purpose of this sound installation. Initiated and realised by Dagmar Schink and Dominik Leitner, graduates from the University of Art and Design Linz.
